Usher
This position welcomes all people to JOURNEYS and is often the first person a visitor meets. Ushers extend a warm welcome and assist attendees in practical ways such as help with seating, answering questions, or providing practical information.
Hospitality
This ministry provides the community with food and drink each Sunday. This position also sets up and cleans up the Sunday Celebration refreshments and oversees this function for other special community events, such as potlucks, parties, and picnics.
Welcome Ministry
This ministry greets newcomers to JOURNEYS making them feel welcome. This position helps visitors get acquainted with what goes on within the community, answers any questions, and introduces them to other people. This position also supports and attends the monthly New Visitor Orientation Session, as needed.
Audio Ministry
This ministry is responsible for recording the Sunday Celebration or other special events. This position also sets up and breaks down the audio equipment as well as the stage.
Prosperity Counters
This ministry counts the offering after the Sunday Celebration or other special events where a love offering is collected.
Children’s Guide
This ministry works with the children to teach them spiritual principles through a variety of means: creative expression, meditation, music, stories, discussion and sharing, experiments, games, and outdoor activities. Positions are available within each of the different classrooms.
Prayer Partners
Members of this ministry are specifically trained how to pray with individuals and hold a sacred space for them knowing that all is well regardless of the outward appearance of a circumstance.
